"Artificial Intelligence: Indispensable for Future Planning and Execution of Military Operations"

17 - 18 October 2022

Prague, Czech Republic

PROGRAMME

The employment of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is definitely on the rise globally. The European Union will issue a comprehensive AI policy end of this summer. NATO decided on its AI strategy last October. The conduct of military operations in the future most likely will rely on a wide range of AI applications. Cyber defence needs AI support. As AI perhaps soon becomes a commodity in the preparation and execution of military operations, it will alter military structures, command and control procedures, C4ISR disciplines.

At the same time, AI builds on a number of other technological steps successfully implemented:

  •  Digitalisation in defense
  •  Data policy
  •  Cloud Services
  •  (Cyber-)secure connections

Let’s consider opportunities and dependencies comprehensively!

This was a two-day conference and exhibition, and as per the annual tradition also held under the Patronage of the Host Nation’s Minister of Defence (requested). This event featured high-level speakers from all over the EU and NATO, from transatlantic as well as from the host nation.
