JLS Taiwan will be held at the national headquarters of Girl Scouts of Taiwan located in its capital, Taipei, a highly sophisticated yet culturally rich city, housing from skyscrapers and modern green technology architecture to heritage protected historical buildings. For those interested in culture, Taiwan brings you a fusion of East Asian and aboriginal cultures with some western influence.
Accommodation is offered on a twin-sharing basis at Hsuan Mei Boutique Hotel, a well-equipped and cosy hotel about 5-10 minutes walk to the headquarters.
The area is accessible by MRT and within easy reach of major tourist destinations where you can experience local culture, history, creative and modern arts, culinary and technology. For nature lovers, there are plenty of parks, green spaces, mountains and hot springs around, including the famous Yangmingshan National Park. You can also indulge in shopping and local street food at the many night markets in Taipei.

The Girl Guides (Girl Scouts) Association of Thailand are excited to welcome you to Thailand, the land of smiles. This JLS hub will take place in the capital city, Bangkok (City of Angels). Some say every step here brings you something new to savour: tastes, smells, warmth, humility, friendliness, and spiritual peace.
At this JLS hub you may have a chance to take a trip to a small river island, just north of Bangkok by boat. Take the bike ride around, explore the riverside livelihood and make your own pottery.
Girl Scouts of the USA welcome you to the Edith Macy Centre – a 400 acre forested property, boasting beautiful nature trials.
This was the site of the first USA International World Camp in 1926—the last Girl Scout gathering attended by Juliette Low which elevated her advocacy of internationalism for Girl Scouting. It was also at this event that participants designated February 22 as World Thinking Day.
