Discover energy opportunities overseas

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is bringing an international energy delegation to the North of England. From the 20 - 24 June, UK companies can meet, network, and do business with key stakeholders from across the globe, looking for UK expertise in the energy sector.

Meet 40 organisations from over 12 countries, as well as DIT colleagues from over 14 countries, including: Brazil, Colombia, USA, Estonia, Norway, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Spain, and the Netherlands.

The delegation will be attending four days of activities in the North West, the North East, and the Yorkshire and the Humber region.

What's happening?

North West
10:00 - 11:30, 22 June 2022
Tour the Manchester Fuel Cell Innovation Centre at Manchester Metropolitan University. Joined by a party from our international delegation, the tour will be led by Amer Gaffar, Director, and will look at the great opportunities in hydrogen.

North East
13:00 - 15:00 / 16:30 - 18:30, 23 June 2022
Join our international delegation at two networking events for local companies based in the north and south of the region: a complimentary networking lunch and presentations at Port of Tyne or a complimentary networking warm buffet and presentations at Middlesbrough College.

Yorkshire and the Humber
9:00 - 12:00, 24 June 2022
Attend our half-day event at Aura Bridgehead Business Park in the Humber, where you'll hear from energy speakers and network with our international delegation.
