About the event

Ideal for all College Board Members, Chairs, Vice Chairs and Governance Professionals, both new and long-standing, this workshop will look at the role of the Board as Colleges heighten their engagement and strengthen their position as strategic drivers of regional economic growth and transformation.
 
Participants will learn how Boards can support their College to shape the priorities of their regional economic strategy and in so doing secure a more conducive operating environment for their college through effective stakeholder engagement and the alignment of operational relationships.
 
The Forth Valley College experience will also be explored with Ross and Ken demonstrating how Forth Valley College positioned itself as a key player in the development of a coherent approach to its regional economy as well as discussing specific examples of where Board Members contributed to ‘Making Learning Work’, the college’s mission.
