Diversity and Inclusion Delegate Place Scheme

INSOL International prides itself on being globally accessible, providing benefits to members around the world regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, age, or socioeconomic background.

We are therefore proud to continue the Diversity & Inclusion Delegate Place Scheme for INSOL Tokyo 2023. This scheme offers delegate places for professionals who might otherwise miss out on conference attendance at a pivotal moment in their career. Successful applicants will receive a delegate ticket and a meaningful contribution towards their travel and accommodation.

APPLICATION

Applications are now closed for the Diversity & Inclusion Place Scheme.

All application information will be kept entirely confidential.

The Scheme is primarily aimed at anyone from an underrepresented group that feels they would benefit from conference attendance.

All you need to do is provide two paragraphs to the committee explaining why you feel you would be a great recipient for a Diversity Delegate Place.

SELECTION

A committee will review all applications and use the standard definitions of protected characteristics as a starting point for their deliberation.  However, we understand that diversity comes in many forms and will interpret in the widest sense possible. All committee members will sign a confidentiality agreement to protect the anonymity of applicants.

The selection process does not seek to make any value judgements about the relative worth of different types of diversity – we simply want to ensure that the INSOL Tokyo 2023 Conference delegation is representative of the diverse global community working in restructuring. On that basis – no negotiation or discussion of applications will be entered into. The committee’s decisions will be final and confidential.

AWARDS

Successful applicants will receive a delegate ticket and a meaningful contribution towards their travel and accommodation.
