Advisory Services:
Neil A Burns LLC provides advisory services on strategic matters affecting chemical companies, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and major investments. As part of this advisory practice we hold board positions with companies where we have an investment position or where we can lend strategic support over the long term.
Equity Capital:
We work in partnership with a very limited number of like-minded private equity funds who provide capital, financial expertise and deal structuring resources to supplement our in-depth chemical industry focus. These funds have the conservative and patient investment philosophy necessary to support value creation in the chemical industry.

ICIS & Neil A Burns Partnership
Reed Business Information LTD. (RBI) of the UK and NEIL A. BURNS LLC of the USA entered into a long-term agreement to co-produce conferences and seminars in the field of Surfactants back in 2011.
RBI, via their ICIS subsidiary, has an existing successful business holding conferences and training courses globally in many chemical areas including petrochemicals, oleochemicals, and base-oils. The company notes that the agreement with Neil A. Burns LLC enables them to expand their conference activities into a new key market with significant global potential. Neil Burns, whose company Neil A Burns LLC has an existing business providing advisory and investment services in specialty chemicals with a particular focus on the Surfactants value chain, will play a key role at the Surfactants events as chair and/or speaker.
