About the webinar

The Department for International Trade (DIT), in collaboration with Arup, is delighted to invite you to explore direct impacts of Covid-19 on smart transport and mobility within a future city context, discuss short term responses and identify longer term challenges and opportunities. COVID-19 has a disruptive impact on the way we live and move around, on cities and society as a whole. The current necessity of social distancing is re-shaping urban transport.

Why attend?

In this webinar*, you will explore the impacts of the pandemic on transport networks and hear about good practice examples of measures, instruments and planning procedures related to Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) projects in the UK, as well as lessons learnt for Istanbul’s SUMP post pandemic. If you are a representative of a municipality, public or private body with interest in the topic, the UK Department for International Trade will be delighted to have you join at this webinar on the 30th of November.

*This webinar will be bilingual (Turkish and English).
