Baltic offshore wind trade mission
Ambitious renewable energy projects are making their way in the three Baltic States – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
All three countries are aiming for energy transition and independence thus presenting some significant opportunities for the UK’s supply chain companies to support the development of forthcoming significant projects.
Department for Business and Trade (DBT) at the British Embassies in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are leading a trade mission - roadshow for UK offshore wind industry supply chain companies and organisations that are keen to learn about current/future projects in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, meet with key players, engage with prospective local partners and identify commercial opportunities. This visit will be focused on offshore wind sector and will take place in November 2023.
The DBT teams of the British Embassies in the Baltic States are liaising with local stakeholders to deliver a 3 day roadshow agenda that will include a series of pre-arranged site visits, group meetings, opportunities for B2B, and targeted networking events in three cities:
- Tallinn, Estonia
14 November - Riga, Latvia
15 November - Vilnius, Lithuania
16 November
Who should participate?
Early stage & offshore wind farm development service providers, including:
- Consultancies
- Engineering
- Design
- Planning
- Surveying
The mission will provide the opportunity to engage with leading energy sector stakeholders in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, including:
- Government
- Energy sector organisations and developers
- Professional services and local supply chain business community
- Key facilities, such as sea ports

Registration is open until 31 October and interested companies are encouraged to sign-up early as there are a maximum of fifteen spaces available. Participation is free of charge. Delegates will have to cover their travel and accommodation expenses.
