Following the success for the first UK Smart Cities Directory, the UK's Department for International Trade is developing a second volume to be launched in 2022.

Background:

All over the world urban areas are under pressure from population growth, climate change, and pollution. With these challenges new solutions are required to de-carbonise cities, make better use of resources, and improve the quality of life for citizens.

The UK has a rich technology ecosystem and numerous examples of innovative tech companies. The Department for International Trade is eager to support these companies' international ambitions, championing the best of British innovation and technology to tackle the world's most pressing urban challenges. The directory will showcase UK smart cities strengths in key sub-sectors and provide an opportunity for you to promote your company to potential overseas buyers and partners. The directory will be used by the Department's network of overseas Trade Officers to highlight UK capability and expertise with their key stakeholders.
