WAGGGS Event app available for Africa Conference!
We are excited to launch brand new WAGGGS Events app during our 2019 Regional Conferences. This is an enormous step forward for us, as we try to enhance the engagement with our participants, to allow more networking, collect feedback and share the experience. The app can be used with any iOS (Apple) or Android device, or as a web app.
You will need a username and a password to log in:
Username: the email you have registered for the conference with
Password: your registration number
If you’re having difficulties accessing the app, please email Africa.ReCo@wagggs.org and we will be happy to help!
When you log in, you will able to see the Conference programme, the Speakers, all the Regional Committee Nominees and much more. You will be able to rate each session, ask questions, and download conference documents and other material in the Conference Bag. You will be able to connect will all attendees, schedule meetings with them or use the chat function.

CONFERENCE PROGRAMME Provides an overview of all sessions When you click on the sessions the information expands to inform of time, description, room, allows you to add session to personal agenda and rate sessions. You can also ask a question or download the attached documents to your Conference bag.

TREASURE HUNT Get to know WAGGGS' programmes and opportunities with Treasure Hunt! It’s fun, we promise! HOW TO PLAY THE SCAVENGER HUNT: 1 – Find the posters around the venue. Each has a question and a QR code. 2 – Guess the answer to the question on the poster. 3 – Tap the blue QR code logo below and scan the QR code on the poster. 4 – One programme/opportunity in the list will be ticked! Tap on it to check your answer and read more. Collect all ten!! |

ATTENDEES and MY PROFILE A list of all participants at the conference! Get to know who is who, connect with them in the app or invite them to a meeting. Update your profile with the information you would like to share with other participants! Set your preferred language ion the settings (the app is available in English and in French) and read our privacy policy. And don't forget to upload your picture, so other participants can put a picture to the name! |

VOTING We will use the WAGGGS Events app for voting on motions and to elect the New Regional Commitee. Only Head Delegates have access to voting, so it will not be visible to everyone. If you are a Head Delegate for your Member organisation and you can't see the Voting module in your app, please contact us at Africa.Reco@wagggs.org or let us know on the ground.
