Accommodation

 

Welcome to your home away from home. We are holding rooms for all guests at the Golden Tulip Hotel where the conference is taking place. The hotel is located in Nyamata, Kigali. The full address is RN 15 Bugesera Road, Nyamata, Rwanda.

AGR and Golden Tulip have agreed on special prices for everyone attending the Conference. The hotel has two building blocks, A & B. A accommodates main hotel facilities including conference rooms, gym, bar and restaurants, while B only contains only rooms.

All accommodation can be booked directly through the hotel at eventsnya@lapalissehotels.co.rw and copy eventcoordination.rwanda@gmail.com using the booking form. Make sure to use the subject: AFRICA REGIONAL CONFERENCE – ROOM BOOKING

Kindly specify the type of room you would like to book, specify your full names and with whom you will share it. Here are all room options and prices:

The deadline for accommodation booking is 01 June 2019. After the deadline, accommodation booking is subject to availability, and AGR cannot guarantee the same prices and conditions. As July is high season in Rwanda, we recommend you book accommodation as soon as possible to avoid any problems with booking your preferred room. If you book after 01 June, there is a possibility that the Golden Tulip hotel will not be able to take your booking due to their occupancy rates.


Guests are welcome to bring friends and family. Please make sure that you book your accommodation accordingly. Please note that the hotel will book the rooms on a first serve basis, which means cheaper rooms might be sold out quicker.

 

Accommodation Payment

A 50 % non-refundable payment of booked accommodation is required before 01 June 2019. Balance is payable upon arrival at the hotel.

If you foresee any problem with either of these payment mechanisms, please notify WAGGGS at Africa.Reco@wagggs.org as soon as possible.

 

Accommodation Cancellation and Refund Policy

Accommodation fees are non-refundable, even on failure of visa application. Should the composition of your delegation change, it will be possible to transfer the accommodation booking to the substituted person up until 25 June 2019. After this date, substitution cannot be arranged and the hotel will charge you the cancellation fee.
