ATIEL

ATIEL is an industry association representing manufacturers and marketers in the European lubricants industry. ATIEL’s Code of Practice is accepted industry-wide as best practice for the development and manufacture of automotive engine lubricants conforming to ACEA (the European Automobile Manufacturers Association) performance requirements. The Code of Practice forms part of the European Engine Lubricants Quality Management System (EELQMS). ATIEL carries out quality surveys of products in the marketplace in support of the EELQMS and the ACEA Sequences.
