Official Languages

English is the official working language of the “One-Belt-One-Road Inclusive and Sustainable City Exhibition and Dialogue”. Simultaneous Chinese and Russian interpretation will be provided throughout. Official event proceedings will be made available in English, Chinese and Russian. Publication of the proceedings in Arabic will be subject to actual demands and available budget.

Participation

Around 300 to 400 participants will attend the event, including representatives from other UN agencies, academia, city governments and the private sector.

Visa Requirements
Depending upon country of origin, participants may be required to secure a visa or travel permit to enter Austria. All attendees are requested to make their own arrangements for entry visas or travel permits, ensuring that they also have the proper documentation for travelling through other countries en route to Vienna. UNIDO will issue, upon request, a formal invitation to expedite the application process. Neither UNIDO nor the UN have visa-issuing status and are not liable for any legal or political ramifications due to unauthorized travel and entry.
