OurFamilyWizard is a co-parent communication platform to assist parents before, during, or after the divorce and separation process. It provides a safe and neutral environment for communication to be monitored whereby key issues about the child(ren) can be resolved. OurFamilyWizard is regularly used by parents who are going through the court process to resolve their child arrangement and finance matters. It is also regularly used by those who are using out-of-court resolution methods to support parents with their communication and prevent them from returning to court, where applicable.
ParentAssess is the most widely recognised and accepted specialist parenting assessment framework in England, currently being utilised by over 80% of Local Authorities. The framework is versatile and can be used to assess any parent at any stage from early intervention to care proceedings. It can be undertaken with or without a cognitive assessment. Established in 2016 by Sarah Lowe, ParentAssess emerged from a need for a more supportive, flexible assessment model that could be easily understood by families and those working in family law.
The framework operates in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 guidance. Our principles are aligned with this guidance, emphasising the importance of building positive, trusting, and cooperative relationships with parents and carers to provide tailored support to families. ParentAssess is recognised in the Good Practice Guidance on Working with Parents with a Learning Disability (Bristol University, 2021) as a good practice framework.
