14 - 15 SEPTEMBER 2021, THE SQUARE, BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

Safety Measures

TechNet International #New will be held in-person in Brussels, (virtual attendance is also possible) with additional health and safety protocols in place, to meet all local regulations at the time of the meeting.

Some of the measures include:

  • To be eligible to attend this event, you will need to be fully (double) vaccinated against Covid-19 and present your certification upon entry to the event. If not vaccinated, you will need to present a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours or a negative antigen test no older than 24 hours before your first entry to this event. Note that antigen testing is now available at many Belgian pharmacies.
  • Obligatory wearing of FFP2 (N95) face-masks for all participants throughout the conference centre, except while eating or drinking and seated. You may take off your mask while seated (and you must maintain social distancing while seated). You must wear it while moving about. You must also be seated to eat.
  • Widespread availability of hand sanitizer dispensers
  • Distanced seating of 1.5 meters in all conference rooms
  • Enforcement of social distancing throughout the conference centre
  • More frequent cleaning and disinfection throughout the conference centre
  • One-way flow systems and corridors in the exhibition area and conference centre
  • Plexiglass shields in registration areas
  • Temperature checks
  • Random COVID-19 testing of event attendees
  • Attendees must remain seated while eating and may not change seats or tables once they have sat down and received their food.

These will be adjusted as necessary as the situation evolves with the health and safety of our participants remaining a top priority.

Recent Changes in traveling to Belgium:

The travel rules have recently changed coming to Belgium. Since Belgium has removed the USA from their white list of red countries, vaccinated travelers (coming from any red country outside of the Schengen zone) now also need to test on arrival in Belgium and quarantine until you receive the negative result. There are other rules for unvaccinated travelers. Please see the links above for details.

You can have a test done at the airport on arrival. Most have their result in 24 hours, though it could take up to 48 hours. If possible, you might even consider arriving in Belgium earlier, to be sure that you do not miss a minute of the event.

All about testing in Belgium:

You will need a Corona test presciption code in order to be able to book and appointment for a test in Belgium. Foreigners can request this code via this website:
