The Department for International Trade is proud to once again be sponsoring Innovate Finance at UK Fintech Week (UKFW) which includes the International Fintech Global Summit (IFGS) taking place 4 & 5 April 2022.

The UK is a global hub for fintech and we are committed to supporting our world-class fintech sector, both at home and overseas.

This will be the first in-person UK Fintech Week since 2019. We are so pleased to be welcoming international businesses, partners and colleagues to join us for a jam-packed week of events, networking and learning. What’s more, our events will be spread across three dynamic UK fintech hubs – London, the West Midlands, and Cardiff.

During UK Fintech Week we will outline how we are working alongside global partners to enhance our fintech export and investment services, through initiatives such as DIT’s Fintech Academy and our role as co-chair in the new International Fintech Group, launched by Innovate Finance in March 2022.

DIT is committed to levelling up the UK’s thriving fintech ecosystems and positioning the UK’s regions and nations as world-class investment destinations. Our aim is simple: to promote the strengths of the UK’s fintech ecosystems and encourage inward investment and overseas expansion into the UK.
