UK Space Conference 2019 Awards Programme

We are delighted to announce the launch of the inaugural ‘UK Space Conference Awards’ which will take place at the UK Space Conference this September. Five awards are available, each highlighting the exciting, diverse and forward-thinking ideas and innovations that makes the conference the most influential event for space in the UK. The categories will be judged by experts from across Government, industry and academia during the first two-days of the conference, with the winners announced during the Gala Dinner on Wednesday 25th September 2019.

Announcements

At every UK Space Conference, many industry announcements are made. Please see below for some of this year’s.

 

  • The Chief Executive of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) will announce winners of the first phase of the ‘Space to innovate’ competition, ran by the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA), on Tuesday 24 September at 13:00 on stand C11.

Networking events

Enjoy the best networking event in the UK space calender. The buzzing drinks reception will once again take place in the exhibition area on the evening of the first day (Tuesday 24 September). This event is free to attend for all UK Space Conference participants. 

The spectacular Gala Dinner takes place on day two (Wednesday 25 September). Tickets and tables of 10 are on sale now and are available for purchase with a conference ticket.

Exhibition features

The Exhibition area at the UK Space Conference 2019 will be a hive of activity. Features are being designed to connect delegates and stimulate discussion; these include an innovation zone, spotlight stage talks, small business zone, barista bar and various themed zones.
