Join your MP and businesses in your constituency for a roundtable on exporting hosted by the Department for International Trade
The Parliamentary Export Programme (PEP) is a series of virtual events held for businesses in a constituency, chaired and organised by their local MP. Attend these interactive sessions, where you will receive expert advice and practical guidance on starting to export and growing exports.
Are you interested in finding new customers and growing your business? Would you like to know more about the free support available to help UK businesses sell their goods and services overseas? Would you like to be part of a peer network of local businesses who export/interested in exporting? Join experts from the Department for International Trade (DIT), local businesses and local stakeholders for a roundtable discussion chaired by your Member of Parliament (MP). This will be the final event of a three-part series of online sessions that will give you the guidance and tools you need to export and grow your business internationally.
Roundtable Participants and Agenda
We'll be discussing how businesses can identify and take advantage of international opportunities to sell their goods and services, as well as how they can overcome obstacles to international trade. Whether you're a new or existing exporter or you've never even considered it, attendees will benefit from free advice from International Trade Advisors as well as insights from an experienced exporter in your region.
The local roundtables will include:
• Your local MP;
• A local experienced exporter who will share their experience of successfully exporting to a new, growing market;
• An International Trade Advisor who will provide an overview of the free exporting guidance and support available to Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs);
• A local stakeholder such as a bank, trade association, Local Enterprise Partnership; and
• Other businesses from your local area and an opportunity to network.
