World Expo 2025, Osaka, Japan

More than 28 million business, government and general public visitors are forecast to attend the 6-month World Expo taking place in Osaka, Japan from April to October 2025.

The over-arching theme for Expo 2025 Osaka is ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’, with three sub themes of Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives. The UK Pavilion will be located in the ‘Saving Lives’ zone of the Expo site. UK Mission to GreenTech 2025

The British Embassy in the Hague, Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and Science & Technology Network (STN) are seeking expressions of interest from UK Agri and Horti companies to join our mission to GreenTech 2025 in Amsterdam between the dates of June 9th to June 12th, 2025. GreenTech Amsterdam is the #1 Agri & Horti technology platform in the Netherlands, where industry professionals, governments and academia from around the world come together to connect, network, share knowledge and do business. More than just a trade show... Throughout the three days of GreenTech 2025 participants can participate in a broad programme of talks, presentations, networking sessions and panel discussions focused on the key topics, challenges and innovations in the sector. This is an opportunity to hear from a wide selection of key industry figures across, leading academia and influential government representatives and to meet and network with international peers and experts. Why join the UK mission to GreenTech? This four-day visit includes an invitation to the official GreenTech 2025 pre-event dinner with more than 300 AgriTech and Hortitech experts, complimentary event access to GreenTech 2025, including the trade show and knowledge programme activities. DBT and British Council Hosting a Technology Study Trip from Thailand to the UK - Call for EOIs - 6 March 2025

The British Council, in partnership with the British Embassy Thailand, is delighted to invite UK higher education institutions to submit an expression of interest in hosting students funded by the One District One Scholarship (ODOS) Summer Camp Scheme, administered by the Thailand Ministry of Digital Economy and Society. The Prime Minister of Thailand has announced that the ODOS Summer Camp programme will support students from approximately 878 districts across Thailand, as well as 50 districts in Bangkok. Of these, 50 scholarships will be allocated to study in the UK. The UK is one of the five countries in Europe and 12 countries worldwide selected to participate in this scholarship scheme in 2025. The scholarship scheme will be delivered under the concept “Nurturing the Next-Gen Digital Workforce, Experience with Global Tech, Learn from the Global University”. The programme offers students a six-week experience in the UK (and other partner countries), where they will have the opportunity to study at universities and visit global technology companies. The scholarship aims to develop students’ foundational knowledge in digital technology through university lectures, company visits, and hands-on learning experiences. INTERESTED?
