The UK-India Green Hydrogen Hub is a coalition of UK and India research groups and innovators that join forces to drive science and innovation, accelerate and enhance the role of hydrogen in the UK and India’s decarbonisation journey. The Global Partners Programme is a collaboration between the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and industry to encourage trade and promote British business globally.  ​​ Combining activity and events from across DBT, the Programme creates an international B2B and B2G marketing platform which can be tailored to meet the business objectives of participating sponsors.

The programme comprises over 100 trade events across over 15 markets, alongside activity within International Trade Week and the Made in the UK, Sold to the UK Awards, two of DBT’s key campaigns aimed at helping UK businesses achieve their global potential. ​

More than 28 million business, government and general public visitors are forecast to attend the 6-month World Expo taking place in Osaka, Japan from April to October 2025.

The over-arching theme for Expo 2025 Osaka is ‘Designing Future Society for Our Lives’, with three sub themes of Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives. The UK Pavilion will be located in the ‘Saving Lives’ zone of the Expo site. The UK’s theme statement is ‘See Things Differently’ – capturing the UK's spirit and acting as a powerful invitation to international audiences to embrace fresh perspectives of the UK. We will emphasise the UK's historic partnership with Japan, highlight the UK as a cultural,education and tourist destination and promote UK business in Japan and across the wider Asia-Pacific region.
