Registration Fees

The full Conference registration fee is US$575 per person for the 15th Western Hemisphere Regional Conference.

Are you a young woman, and will be aged under 30 on the first day of Conference? 15th Western Hemisphere Regional Conference has an attractive 30% discount to encourage your attendance. Use the code THRIVE2019 to enable this discount, reducing your full registration Conference fee to US$400.

Your full registration fee includes:

  • Full access to all the 15th Western Hemisphere Regional Conference sessions, workshops and networking activities, including all materials
  • Exhibition space at the International Night and Market
  • Meals included as part of the scheduled programme
  • Wi-Fi
  • Translation of all Conference documents and interpretation during the event (English / Spanish)
  • Return airport transfer to the Grenada Radisson Beach Resort

Please note that accommodation and travel to Grenada are not included. Make sure you book your flights and accommodation in good time to secure your preferred option.

Your day visitor registration includes:

  • Attendance at all open sessions, workshops and networking activities of the 15th Western Hemisphere Regional Conference for the chosen day.
  • Lunch, dinner & coffee breaks on the chosen day.

Registration cancellation and refund policy

Registration fees are non-refundable, even on failure of visa application. However, they can be transferred to another person until 17:00pm (GMT) 03 May 2019. Kindly note that any registration change can be made by logging into the website before the registrations close. After 03 May 2019, substitution cannot be arranged and the registration fee will be forfeited. In case of unforeseeable circumstances, please contact WAGGGS by email WH.ReCo@wagggs.org immediately.



Each Full or Associate Member Organisation of WAGGGS in the Region is entitled to send two Delegates appointed from within its membership. The Delegates carry the authority of their Member Organisation to speak and vote on its behalf and are expected to participate in all proceedings.

In addition, Member Organisations may send Observers who act in support of their Delegates. 

Where a Federation exists, the Component Associations of that Federation should decide together the composition of the delegation. Each Component Association may suggest up to two members to form part of the Federation’s delegation. The Federation shall select two from among this number to be their official Delegates and any others may attend as Observers.

In supporting WAGGGS’ mission of developing young women as decision makers, Member Organisations should make every effort possible to include one young woman (aged 18-30) in the delegation as either the conference delegate or observer. Young women who currently serve or are being developed as members of the national board, executive committee or sub-committees are ideal candidates to fulfil this role and will gain valuable international experience.
