UK DSE EST SUPPORT TO COMPANIES - DSEI 2023

1. UK DSE EST support to industry during DSEI 23 will be delivered in a tiered system and tailored to individual company requirements and will be based on the following services:

Product on UK Capability Showcase

2. Companies will have the opportunity to display their product/s or service on the UK DSE Showcase. Depending on size and space available, companies may take the opportunity to display an item within 3 tiers. This service will include military personnel from EST who will present your product on stand, brief on and discuss its capabilities utilising media products and the product itself. Finally, UK DSE will deliver HMG and Clarion delegation management to improve ‘through put’ of international delegations and ensure your product is viewed by all HMG and Clarion invited international VIPs attending DSEI 23. Please note that company representatives are not permitted on the showcase throughout the exhibition.

1. 1. Cost: £3600 - £4400 (excl VAT)[1]. Please note the cost is for one main item of equipment/product and additional items such as accessories can be discussed. The cost does not cover the transportation, storage of packaging, additional handling or display measures such as overhead rigging or mannequin rental. All additional costs can be discussed prior to confirmation of participation.  Please see the table below for the range of tiers we offer:

Please be aware that all companies participating on the Showcase will be required to sign up with Clarion once confirmation of participation has been granted. Once registered, this will allow you to pay for the event via Clarion.

 3. Please note completing this form is an expression of interest and there is no obligation at this stage. You will not be confirmed as exhibiting within the UK DSE Capability Showcase until 1 May 23 and we have sent you the Initial Financial Quotation (IFQ) and received a signed copy back. If we do not receive a response by 7 Jul 23, we will assume that you have decided not to use our services.

Licensing

Should you decide to use our services, you will be responsible for arranging the appropriate Exhibition Clearance Letter issued either by MoD DefSy for private venture products to be found at www.gov.uk/government_PV_Ex_Guidance_Document.pdf or the relevant DE&S Project Team dealing with a specific in-service product.

Public Liability Insurance

A requirement of being an exhibitor at this event is that you must have public liability insurance of £2 million minimum.  As per the Event Organiser Clarion’s policy, we will include the Exhibitor Protection Scheme within your contract (£195) within your fee by default.  If your application to participate on the UK Capability Showcase is successful you will receive communication regarding this insurance and the ability to upload your own coverage and if approved, you will be reimbursed the full amount.

Key Dates

Please note the following timelines and key dates:

1. 1. 14 Apr 23 – Company deadline to express an interest in UK DSE EST services for DSEI 23.

1. 2. 1 May 23 - Confirmation of attendance.
2. 3. 7 Jul 23 - Companies to complete payment via Clarion.
3. 4. 4 – 18 Sep 23 - Companies to assist with the transportation and the build/ strip of equipment as required.                                                      
4. 5. 12 – 15 Sep 23 - DSEI 23 Exhibition.
