About the event

Celebrating the brightest and best women in tech from across Europe

On Wednesday 2 September 2020 (17:00 - 18.20 BST) the Department for International Trade (DIT) Europe Network organised the 1st DIT European Tech Women Awards. The event took place online during the London Tech Week and was used as springboard to the launch the DIT Europe Technology Campaign.

The Awards ceremony recognised the excellence of 24 women from the European Region through their outstanding and exceptional achievements in the technology field and featured two powerful keynote speeches from Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon, Co-Founder of STEMettes and Sheila Flavell CBE, Chief Operating Officer of FDM Group.

Hear from female thought leaders about how they have achieved success by creating unique and innovative solutions across many sectors in the technology field, and contributed significantly to delivering revolutionary projects in the UK and Europe. Learn and be inspired by how they have made a difference in their company to support women’s rights and opportunities and enhanced young talents to become the next generation of Tech Women.
