The Annual Conference attracts an audience of around 500 international delegates each year. The audience tends to comprise of academics, educators, researchers, curators, artists, historians, phd students, freelance researchers, writers and anyone interested in art history research. The Annual Conference is an established and well-respected academic event for art history and visual cultures. It is a research-led, event that also includes a Bookfair and fringe programme of activities with local museums, galleries and networks.

Now in its 46th year this 3-day event presents current research and critical debates from around the world. The Annual Conference takes place at different universities and cultural institutions around the UK. It attracts around 500 delegates and exhibitors each year.
The Association for Art History is a charity and subject association. Our Annual Conference is a research-led, event that also includes a Bookfair and fringe programme of activities with local museums, galleries and networks.
If you are looking to promote your publications or forthcoming events, but can’t attend the 2020 Annual Conference, there are several publicity opportunities available for leaflets, catalogues or samples.

Make your leaflets available to delegates when they register. We will have a dedicated publicity point by Registration, in the central ‘info & meet up’ zone where delegates check-in and gather. Alternatively publicise your leaflets to delegates attending the keynotes.
