Getting Here
London is served by several major international airports:

  • London Heathrow (LHR) – the UK’s main hub, with direct Elizabeth Line access to central London.
  • London Gatwick (LGW) – served by Thameslink and Gatwick Express rail services.
  • London Stansted (STN) – connected by the Stansted Express to Liverpool Street.
  • London City (LCY) – closest to central London, convenient for European and business travellers.

Taxis and ride-hailing services are available from all airports. Travel time to the conference venue (Park Lane) typically ranges from 40 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the airport and traffic.

Train connections:

  • Heathrow: Take the Elizabeth Line to Bond Street. From there, it is a short walk via Oxford Street to Park Lane (Hyde Park on your right).
  • Gatwick: Take the Thameslink to Farringdon or London Bridge. Connect to the Elizabeth Line or Jubilee Line to Bond Street.
  • Stansted: Take the Stansted Airport Express to London Liverpool Street. Take Central Line to Marble Arch. From here it is a short walk down Park Lane (Hyde Park on your right).

Contactless payment cards and mobile pay (Apple Pay/Google Pay) are accepted across all transport services.

  • Currency: British Pound Sterling (GBP). Credit cards and contactless payments are widely accepted; some smaller venues are cashless.
  • Time Zone: British Summer Time (GMT+1) in April.
  • Electricity: 230V AC, three-pin Type G plug.
  • Weather: Mild spring conditions — average highs around 15–20°C with occasional showers.

 

Stansted:

Taxis can be picked up from outside the airport terminal. The journey is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

By train, take the Stansted Airport Express to London Liverpool Street. Change onto the Central Line Tube. Exit at Marble Arch and walk down Park Lane, keeping Hyde Park on your right. 

Heathrow:

Taxis can be picked up from outside the airport terminal. The journey is approximately 1 hour.

By train, take the Elizabeth Line to Bond Street. Exit Bond Street and walk down Oxford Street towards Marble Arch, then turn onto Park Lane, keeping Hyde Park on your right.

Gatwick:

Taxis can be picked up from outside the airport terminal. The journey is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.

By train, you can either take the Thameslink service to London Bridge and change onto the Jubilee Tube Line; or to Farringdon and change onto the Elizabeth Line. Both tube lines exit at Bond Street. Walk down Oxford Street towards Marble Arch, then turn onto Park Lane, keeping Hyde Park on your right.
