Although the 2022 Annual Conference was conceived as an in-person event, we have made the difficult decision to move to a fully digital platform owing to the uncertainties of evolving Covid-19 restrictions and to ensure the safety of delegates and staff. Therefore, all aspects of the conference will be made available digitally throughout the three-day event.

The Association for Art History’s 2022 Annual Conference is open to all. Our members receive reduced conference ticket rates, and even greater savings – of over 15% – are still available as we are freezing all ticket pricing at early bird ticket rates. Non-members are also welcome to attend.

If you have already purchased a ticket this will automatically transfer from an in-person to a digital participation ticket.

• All delegates, including speakers and convenors, need to pay the appropriate conference fee.
• Concessionary tickets support students and people on low income (those with an annual income of less than £20,000 per year).
• Conference bursaries for PhD and Early Career Researchers are available. The deadline for applications is 10 December 2021. More information can be found here.
• Your conference ticket includes access to all digital sessions, keynotes, exhibitors, visits, fringe events and networking opportunities (for the day/s you’ve booked for).
