ICAS 10 took place in 2017 in Chiang Mai. The next Convention - ICAS 11 - will be held in Leiden, the Netherlands from 16-19 July 2019. For more information, please visit the ICAS 11 website.
 

 

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Before completing Immigration formalities, you will need to fill in an Arrival Card, which you will receive during your flight. Otherwise these are also available just before the immigration officer’s booths. For the section requesting your address in Thailand, you can write the name your hotel/guest house.


If you are applying for a visa on arrival, please make sure that you  have the required documents and fee with you. See for more information on visa


Participants from some African and Latin American countries should present a Certificate for Yellow Fever Vaccination to the Immigration Officer. See here the list of countries.


PRE-REGISTRATION – 19 JULY, 13.30 – 17.00
Registration and badge pick up on 19 July will be from 13:30 to 17:00 in the Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre located in the Old City. We recommend those delegates arriving in Chiang Mai prior to Thursday 20 July to complete their registration on Wednesday 19 July.

The Chiang Mai City Arts & Cultural Centre is located behind the Three King’s Monument. You can enter the premises via the gate on Ratvithi Road opposite the Artisan Tea & Coffee shop.


During ICAS10, the exhibition titled 'Palm Leaf Manuscripts Unwrapped' will be displayed every day except Monday at the temporary Exhibition Room, 2nd floor, without admission fee. The Chiang Mai Historical Center Museum will provide a special admission fee rate for ICAS10 participants at 60 THB.

SPEAKER INFORMATION
Delegates who are presenting at the Conference must ensure that their presentation is prepared in PowerPoint and brought to the Conference on a USB stick. Please arrive in your session room 10 minutes prior to the start of the session to upload your presentation and introduce yourself to the session chair. For the presentation guidelines see our website.

All delegates will receive a hard copy of the ICAS Conference Programme Book during registration.

CONFERENCE PHOTOGRAPHY
There will be a photographer present over the course of the Conference capturing images. Any images will be retained by the Conference Organisers for their purposes. If you have any issues with your photograph being taken, please advise the staff at the registration desk.
